Message from the President

My goal is to protect as many people from the dangers of fire as possible.

We often hear calls for “help”. Those calls often come from those touched by the tragedies inflicted by fire. Whenever I hear those calls for help, I think of my own family. Even though many of the possessions lost to fire damage can be reattained with the help of insurance, family photos and hand-drawn pictures by the kids can never be replaced. To ensure people never have to suffer these losses, we have dedicated ourselves to researching and developing products to help people better protect themselves.

Fitech strives to protect people from fire and contribute to the betterment of society. We actively engage in research and development of fire suppression products in order to protect the lives of people not only in Japan but around the world.

The causes of fire changes and grow in number year by year due to aging buildings, high-rise buildings, industrial development, and changing technology. Fires we couldn’t imagine in the past have become regular occurrences, and these fires continue to take human lives. Firefighting technology must continue to evolve as the causes and types of fire changes.

We are also hard at work with companies that are trying to solve seemingly impossible to deal with fires. Fitech works with these companies to jointly develop solutions that meet their needs. As we explore the power of chemistry along with drones, IoT, and AI, Fitech collaborates with industry, government, and academia to bring innovation to the development of firefighting technology.

Fitech’s mission is clear. In order to answer the calls for help and protect as many people as possible from the dangers of fire, we must continue to contribute solutions that meet the needs of an ever-changing society.
